A showcase education building being constructed at the heart of the BRE Innovation Park, Watford.
The Re-thinking building will be a key element of OFFSITE 2007 showcasing modern methods of construction and the latest innovative technologies for buildings and the built environment.

The concept design
We embed sustainability, not as bolt on or a 'nice to have', but as a core element of the curriculum. The school building itself becomes a teaching and learning tool. Every part of the school’s design, construction and operation is an educational opportunity.
The project will:
- demonstrate that modern methods of construction can be:
- materially sustainable
- low carbon - embodied and operational
- cost effective
- beautiful
- demonstrate natural ventilation and daylighting
- adopt one planet living methodology
- ensure that design can be used as a teaching & learning tool.
